New for 2011/2012, the women's Arc'Teryx Sentinel Jacket is a feminine soft shell built for aggressive skiing and riding. A durable GORE-TEX three-layer fabric is fully waterproof, windproof and extremely breathable, keeping you fresh and dry on the inside when the conditions would have you believe otherwise. The Sentinel's built-in powder skirt snaps closed to keep deep powder days from creeping inside your jacket, and a helmet-compatible hood pulls tight when you need to seal off a storm from attacking your head neck. Additionally, the Sentinel Jacket's built-in RECCO reflector is an added avalanche safety feature when youÆre exploring sketchy terrain in-bounds. - GORE-TEX 3L shell is fully waterproof and breathable for ultimate durability and dryness
- Brimmed hood adds extra protection in the face of a storm
- Laminated chin guard with microsuede lining prevents uncomfortable chafing
- Wide cuffs easily fit over gloves for a streamlined fit

Expert Review:
"It's a fact that Arc'Teryx isn't cheap. There's also a reason it isn't cheap. Arc'Teryx is really well made gear with extraordinary attention to detail. If you want performance, you'll be hard pressed to find better stuff from any manufacturer. The Rush is a good example. From the two different types of GORE-TEX to the water tight zippers to the helmet compatible hood, when its storming out, the Rush Jacket is just going to feel up to the task, so you can keep enjoying the skiing instead of heading for the lodge."
