Redesigned for the 2011/2012 season, the Arc'Teryx Stingray Jacket is a lightly insulated women's soft shell jacket for all-mountain skiing and snowboarding. The fully waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX fabric stands up to harsh weather, insulating you from cold and soggy conditions, and the shell's three-layer construction adds years of durability for women who play aggressively in the outdoors. Open the Stingray Jacket's pit zips to ventilate your body when your core temperature rises, plus enjoy the safety feature of a built-in RECCO reflector when your adventures take you into avalanche-prone terrain. Whether you choose to ski in-bounds or explore into the backcountry, the Stingray Jacket is a versatile choice for winter play. - GORE-TEX 3L shell is fully waterproof and breathable for ultimate durability and dryness
- Elastic powder skirt prevents snow from entering the jacket at the waist
- Helmet-compatible hood pulls tight over head with drawcords
- Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish repels light rain/snow from saturating the outer layer

Industry Review:
snowhugger.com Assessment:
The jacket fabric is supple with a slight stretch. . . It moves easily with even full layering without binding or constricting. On the whole, the workmanship of this jacket is sublime. The joining together of the separate panels would make a master quilter weap and there are none of the usual imperfections in the stitches. . . It eschews features but perfects its details and workmanship. It possesses a certain less-is-more stoicism that will appeal to purists.
