Smooth striding on the way up and steady on the way down, the high strength aluminum parts and solid boot retention system give the G3 Onyx a secure and rigid boot to binding interface for exceptional downhill control. G3's Onyx bindings aren't the most intuitive of the alpine touring bindings, but once you get used to them, they allow for quick adjustments of heel elevations for slope grade changes and even pole operable switching between touring and skiing modes. The G3 Onyx AT bindings also have a smooth step in toe tech system. The 110 mm brakes are compatible with skis up to and slightly above 110 mm at the waist while, the 130 mm brakes are for wider skis. - Dependable and intuitive pole actuated heel lifts
- Adjustable base plate mounting system applied to the toe and heel for quick adjustments, maintenance of boot center mounting and 33 mm of adjustment to fit a wide range of boot sizes
- Ski brake and crampon compatible
- Complete disassembly and re-assembly possible

Industry Review:
SKiing MAGAZINE Assessment:
The Onyx is completely pole operable - even between walk and downhill modes. It mounts to a plate system that lets you swap it between different skis. However, it's heavier than the average tech binding, and our testers found it confusing to operate at first, though its smooth stride and solid downhill feel impressed us. The women's version is the Ruby.
