Although the same innovative construction techniques are used for the Garmont Asylum as for the Garmont Delerium, the Asylum is made specifically for the ladies. With internal shell shapes made for a womanÆs narrower foot and a flex made for a womanÆs weight and anatomy, the Garmont Asylum 120 ski boot is much more than just sugar and spice. This boot is made for aggressive female skiers who want serious power built into a lightweight backcountry ski boot. The double injected internal pod creates a comfortable fit for the foot, and itÆs housed inside the solid construction of the rest of the boot for confident control. Three forward lean positions add to appeal of the set-up. Garmont's Asylum 120 Ski Boot is also customized with a women's EZFit liner that can be thermoformed for more precision. Alpine touring in these high performance freeriding boots could make you feel like dancing on your way up the hill and when you are coming back down. - The 120 flex is the stiffest woman's boot from Garmont
- EZFit Women's thermo-moldable, multi-density liner provides efficient power transfer, keeps heat inside, cushions big impacts, and can be customized by a boot fitter
- The last accommodates female backcountry skiers with narrow (but not too narrow) volume
- Secure lower boot with snug fit provides maximum control to the skier
- Tech compatible sole can click into Alpine Touring specific bindings (like Dynafit) and features a Vibram rubber sole for better gripping
- Sole set-up features three screws and an engineered polymer structure to keep the soles secure and to make
swapping between alpine soles and tech compatible soles easy - Easy 3 Magnesium Ski-Walk Mechanism frees the cuff and allows a comfortable rotation for hiking and skinning and then locks back into your chosen forward lean position
- The shell's sealed gasket keeps water and melting snow out of your boot
- Power Strap and four magnesium buckles lock down the boot to fit your foot closely and comfortably while a removable cuff spoiler further enhances the fit

Industry Review:
Skiing MAGAZINE Assessment:
In its new [women's Asylum], Garmont employs something it calls Power-Frame to approach the holy-grail blend of downhill integrity and touring performance. A comfortable plastic "pod" (see that darker plastic behind the logo?) surrounds the lower foot and is enveloped by a stiff frame designed to transfer power efficiently from skier to ski. The result is a boot that tours comfortable but has ample strength for big descents in variable conditions. Adjust among three forward-lean options with one hex bolt. Available with alpine soles...
