The K2 A.M.P. Rictor ski is a versatile high performance ski that is just as happy on a race course as it is freeskiing the steep stuff. This all mountain ski with all-terrain rocker features an elevated tip for performance in soft snow and camber underfoot for power and edge grip on firm snow. The K2 A.M.P. Rictor features K2 Mod technology to give you a solid, dampened, responsive ski.
  • All-Terrain Rocker - for versatility, elevated tip boosts performance in soft and variable snow, 70% camber underfoot provides power, energy, and edge grip in harder snow
  • Mod Technology - a secondary core layered on top of the primary core moves separately, absorbing vibrations and impact shock along the Lengths of the ski
  • **Please note that bindings are not included with the K2 A.M.P. Rictor.**

Expert Review:

"How do you replace the most popular ski ever sold (the Apache Recon)? - With a better model that may soon become the most popular ski ever sold! The Recon has been redesigned as the K2 A.M.P. Rictor with a wider waist, partially vertical sidewall and rockered tip that will revolutionize how skis are built in the future. K2's All Terrain rocker gets the turn initiated before you can say "yee-haawww". George 'Squid' Sideris, Jans Mountain Recreation Expert

Industry Review:

SKI MAGAZINE Assessment:

The A.M.P. Rictor is part of K2's all-mountain collection and employs All Terrain rocker. It's designed to be a versatile, do-everything ski for high-advanced and expert skiers who spend 50 percent of their time on groomed snow and 50 percent on ungroomed.

Skiing MAGAZINE Assessment:

Another winner in K2's stellar A.M.P. line, the Rictor stands out among all-mountain skis by virtue of its playfulness, manageable power, and confidence-inspiring edge grip. Like most all-mountain skis, the Rictor eschews tight turns for looser, longer ones and handles groomers, crud, and mild doses of powder. A slightly rockered tip dives effortlessly into carves and steers nimbly through bumps and trees. Experts and intermediates, mellow and aggro, East and West-all will dig the Rictor.
