The Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Hoody blocks wind, insulates warmth and sheds moisture. This lightweight, highly compressible jacket can stuff into an external zip pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop, making it great to bring along for climbing, hiking and canyoneering as a "just in case" layer when conditions may vary, in other words: always. 100% recycled polyester shell surrounds PrimaLoft One insulation, and both materials are treated with Patagonia's Durable Water Repellent (DWR) Finish. The low-bulk Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Hoody can function as a smooth, insulating mid layer and can also be worn as outerwear. - Deluge DWR Finish - Patagonia's proprietary durable water repellant finish functions like new even after years of extensive use
- PrimaLoft One - lightweight 60g polyester insulation retains body warmth and is impressively compressible

Expert Review:
"Light weight and super packable is how I would describe my Patagonia Nano Puff Hoody. I take it on the plane, in the backcountry and to work. It's wind resistant and has a synthetic fill that will stay insulating warm even when wet! That's the beauty of Primaloft. And yes I always have it in my pack."

Industry Review:
BACKPACKER MAGAZINE Assessment:
It compresses down nearly as small as a softball, but is warm enough to serve as three-season insulation and as part of a cold-weather layering system. That made the Nano Puff an instant favorite of one careful-packing tester, who proceeded to wear it for 40-plus days over a six-month period. "It became my go-to puffy, whether I was summer camping in Maine or ski-touring for a week in Norway," she says.
The 100-percent-recyled nylon shell blocks wind, and a water-resistant DWR fends off drizzle and wet snow. It's insulated with PrimaLoft One, a quick-dry synthetic that's quilted to prevent it from shifting around and developing cold spots. The tapered fit offers good mobility, and the elasticized hood stretches to fit over smaller helmets, yet is svelte enough to fit under, too. . .
