Jans now offers a 5-hour private fishing lesson, available anytime to accommodate your schedule. The class is designed to introduce you to a the sport of fly-fishing with your classroom located streamside on our private water. This course will feature knot tying, entomology, casting and presentation of the fly. After learning the basics you will put your knowledge to use on the river before you sit down to a gourmet lunch. The cost is $300 per person and is only $75 each additional person with a limited class size. Call 435-649-4949 to make your reservation.
Separate Men’s and women’s fly-fishing schools are offered. Each school is arranged with an evening fly casting and equipment familiarization session. The following morning is a day of on-stream instruction in fish habitat, entomology, knot tying, fly selection, fly presentation and catching and releasing the fish. The cost is $250 per person.
Women’s schools are scheduled for July 9 &10 and July 23 & 24. Men’s school is scheduled for July 16 & 17. These schools have limited enrollment each session and sell out quickly. Reservations are encouraged.
All of our classes include access to private water, all the necessary equipment, and a gourmet lunch. Tax, fishing license and gratuity are not included.
