Backstory
Logan grew up skiing and racing for The Utah Nordic Alliance (TUNA.) When the search for powder started to take up more of his time, Logan began coaching for TUNA, a position he held for four consecutive years. After living in Norway for three years, managing a Nordic center in Vermont, and putting in many kilometers on the track, Logan determined that Nordic skiing was part of his DNA. Now the manager of the White Pine Nordic Center and the Nordic hard goods buyer, he still lends a hand teaching lessons on exceptionally busy days. Knowing the locals and being an avid cross country skier himself, Logan connects with the vast majority of the people who come into the Nordic Center to purchase gear. He loves the rhythm of cross country skiing and prefers classic over skate skiing. “There’s just something about the movement that is so natural that it makes me want to do it every day,” Logan says with a smile.

“Logan’s strength is his knowledge of cross country skiing and the equipment. He even has experience with grooming, so he understands that part of the business as well. Logan knew the Nordic piece before becoming a manager and that, combined with the fact that he is good with people, makes him a great Nordic Center manager.”
