This Surge Reel is compatible with 5- and 6- weight line, so it's a very versatile reel to have in your quiver for almost all but the smallest and largest species. The Redington Surge Reel has a large arbor design making the retrieve easier and quicker, and keeping with its no frill attitude, the finish is a classic matte black.
