These men's winter boots have 700 fill power down insulation to keep you warm and comfortable in snowy weather, covered by water-resistant and durable recycled Polyethylene terephthalate (P.E.T.) ripstop fabric made from post-consumer recycled plastic bottles that would otherwise collect in landfills. The North Face Nuptse Bootie 3 has an internal ankle-securing elastic and a collar drawcord lace with a barrel lock to ensure your boots are snug and supportive. An abrasion-resistant rand protects the boots from wear and tear and the Northotic footbed provides enhanced stability, support, and cushioning. The Nuptse Bootie III has an Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) midsole, which provides cushioning, abrasion-resistance, and impact resistance. IcePick rubber pods on the bottom of the boots harden when the temperature falls below freezing to provide ultimate biting traction even in icy conditions.     Flip-flops are fine in summer - but in cold weather, switch to The North Face Nuptse Bootie III. These high-cut, 700-fill down toasters are much more than tent slippers. A lugged rubber sole provides traction on snow and wet rocks, and an elastic cord cinches the top to seal out icy drafts.

    I love this boot...it has the look of a classic tent bootie, but has a durable and light weight rubber sole that can put on some serious miles. While traveling I often try and minimize the number of shoes I bring, but on a ski trip you have to have your ski boots, a pair of shoes, and some sort of boot to kick around town while it's dumping. This shoe fills that niche perfectly...because it's so light it won't push your luggage into that "over weight" bag realm. And it's like having a down jacket for your feet!
