I'm fortunate to have been involved in skiing, as a sport and as a business, for over fifty years. My father opened Utah's first ski shop in the late 1930's and that's where, as a little kid, I began my mountain recreation retail career. As a skier who has raced competitively, instructed, and coached, and now as someone watching his grandkids learn to ski, I'm very sensitive to the needs of skiers of all ages and abilities.
Our entire staff shares a love of mountain recreation and a desire to assure your complete satisfaction. We practice and prepare to be able to offer the highest quality services; we do our research and hand-pick the highest quality products to carry in our stores. We stand behind our products and services without reservation. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, we will immediately and cheerfully offer you a replacement, a repair, or a refund.

Manufacturer's Warranty
Jans only carries goods from the world’s top manufacturers. Each manufacturer has its own warranty based on the nature of the product. Jans provides all the paperwork to support the manufacturers’ warranties and will act as your liaison should you need assistance.
In the case of alpine skis, the Expert buyer and testers at Jans have an extraordinary 120+ years of combined experience testing and selecting skis to offer our clientele. Because of the confidence we have in our proprietary buying and selection process, we add an extra year to the ski manufacturers’ warranty. We hope you will never have to call upon it, but please let us know if you do.
