Music, Sweet Music

When a piano is out of tune, it doesn’t perform very well.  When skis or bikes are out of tune, they don’t perform very well either.  And just like a musician, you want your “instruments” to perform at their best all the time.

Tunes aren’t just for elite athletes.  If your bike is out of tune and the gears are “auto-shifting” or you can’t reach a gear that you need for the tough part of the uphill climb, it’s not a very pleasant affair.  The same goes for skis and snowboards that aren’t properly tuned and waxed.  A poorly tuned piece of equipment takes something that’s supposed to be fun and enjoyable, and makes it frustrating and hard.
