The karuba wood core lends lightweight properties to the construction, which is layered with titanal and carbon to produce an all mountain carving ski that's both playful and technical. Kastle's HOLLOWTECH 2.0 technology removes weight from the tip and improves dampening to give the Legend 1956 a supple and stable feel in variable terrain. Generous sidecut makes for a short turning radius and is more pronounced in the tips with wider shovels that flex to give the Legend 1956 its playful character. Don't be fooled though, it's business in the back with less sidecut and a stiffer rear end that makes these skis hold fast through their turn arc. The graphic is inspired by Kastle's beautiful skis from the 1950s, and each ski is built by hand in the Kastle factory in Austria.
