A classic race-inspired sandwich construction with two layers of fiberglass and two layers of titanal feels solid and enables precise energy transfer while carving. Thin stringers of poplar and beech make a dense and rigid inner part of the core for power and stability, while stringers of poplar alone make the outer part more flexible. This balance harnesses the performance of a race construction with the playful character and accessibility of an all-mountain ski. An 83 mm waist underfoot gives the MX83 prowess over front side terrain, and the new carbon-reinforced HOLLOWTECH 3.0 shovel adds versatility and floatation in soft snow. While the softer shovels give some playful characteristics, this ski is all business from the middle to the tail. A short turning radius combined with tails that hold tight through the arc means the Kastle MX83 skis let you have more fun carving turns than ever before.
