Atomic Backland 95 Ski
Details
New this winter, Atomic produced the first ski models under their Lower Impact Design initiative. The new Backland 95 Ski is made from locally sourced poplar wood and significantly less fiberglass, resin, and metal. These updates to materials and production process improvements reduced CO2 emissions by 30% on average. You'll be thankful for the lightweight construction on the skin track, and Atomic achieved the weigt reduction without sacrificing downhill performance. The Backland 95 has excellent stability and maintains composure on steep, technical terrain. Dura Cap Sidewall and camber underfoot ensures good edge hold and stable handling on firm snow. Wide shovels with HRZN 3D help the tips float in powder; and the sidecut produces a playful, mid-short turn radius that's perfect for powder 8s. If you want to push the ski industry toward environmental sustainablility while pushing your limits in the backcountry, grab a pair of Atomic Backland 95 skis.
