Carving perfect turns all day can really take a toll on your legs. That's why Atomic utilized weight reduction technology when creating the Redster Q7.8 while still retaining the performance you expect from the Redster racing heritage. Similar to the Rovoshock S technology found on Redster racing models, the Revoshock C eliminates vibrations for increased stability. The difference is that Rovoshock C uses carbon damping inserts that are much lighter than the steel modules used for Rovoshock S. This makes the Redster Q7.8 accessible to a broader range of skiers, so you don't have to be an ex-ski racer to flex this ski. The Q7.8 isn't a complete lightweight, however, with a Power Woodcore sandwiched between two layers of titanal. Advanced and expert skiers will still have the performance they're looking for, while intermediate skiers will find a platform to push themselves and continue to develop their skills. The 85 mm waist is wider than other carving-focused skis, and that extra width helps boost stability in mixed terrain. For a ski that will let you push yourself as hard as you want, you need the Atomic Redster Q7.8 Rovoshock C.
