K2 broke into the scene with their pioneering fiberglass ski design in the early 1960’s. Their design was lighter and more playful than the traditional designs of their contemporaries, and right away, people took notice. Before long, K2 was shipping over ten-thousand skis per year. Their staff has grown and their processes have become more advanced, but their rebellious and innovative spirit lives on.
