Rockshox
Paul Turner discovered motocross as a teenager, and immediately fell in love with it. He immersed himself in the blossoming sport, and eventually found work as a factory mechanic. As his career progressed, Turner engineered some of the moto world’s most valuable contributions, and eventually his suspension technology reached the mountain bike world as well. By 1990 Rockshox was in full swing, and pro team rider Greg Herbold was well on his way to his first Downhill World Championship, which put the up-and-coming suspension company on the map in a big way. These days, Rockshox continues to shape the evolution of mountain biking, and considering the buttery-smooth action of their forks and shocks, we’re certainly stoked to have them around.
