Backstory
Caron believes in giving back to the community that she calls home. She serves as a board member with the Youth Sports Alliance, an organization that recognized her for over 20 years of dedication to supporting young athletes (including her own two kids), by giving her the Spirit of Service Award. She is also the chair of the Jans Winter Welcome, an event that raises around $400,000 each year to help Park City kids participate in 13 different winter sports clubs.
“In most companies, the CFO is just a bean counter. Not at Jans. Caron was an NCAA Division 1 ski racer who has also been a course worker for World Cup Races, judged mogul competitions, and been a ski model for manufacturers. Off the slopes, Caron is a regular on the trails of Park City both hiking and on her mountain bike, and she is one of the best fly-fisherwomen you can find anywhere. All that background is why when the Christmas Rush hits, Caron is one of the first people the store managers call when they need extra help on the floor for a few hours.””
