While the Kore 85 can't gaurantee you have perfect conditions everyday, it will help you ski your best no matter what kind of day you're facing. New for winter 2022/23, Head improved their lightweight freeride Kore line to make these all-mountain favorites ski even better while still managing to shave weight. A lighter ski means less work on your legs and more fun. The Kore 85 is light and stiff, which, when combined with its tight turning radius, makes for a very playful and dynamic ski. The poplar and karuba wood core has a great weight to performance ratio; and it's sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass and two layers of carbon. Most significantly, the added layer of carbon on top curves over the sidewall for a clean finish and increased durability. Giving the new carbon layer a three-dimensional aspect reduces chatter and adds more snap and pop—increasing the Kore's energy when exiting turns as well as overall performance. The Kore 85 is the narrowest offering in the women's Kore line and also the most nimble with the quickest edge to edge transfer. Tip and tail rocker boost versatility in soft and variable snow, while camber underfoot provides great edge contact for carving the frontside. For intermediate- to expert-level skiers that love carving groomers but still want great performance on bumps or in glades, the Head Kore 85 is your answer.
