Backstory
Jesse Hunt was born a racer, but it’s his coaching that made its mark. His 17 years of racing experience, including time with the University of Vermont and racing pro for the U.S. Ski Team, made him the coach that he is today. During his tenure with the United States Ski and Snowboard Association, Jesse coached the U.S. World Cup team into the 2002 Olympics. Those were the days of Bode Miller and Eric Schlopy when the U.S. became a force to be reckoned with in the sport of alpine skiing. From there Jesse became the Alpine Director for USSA before taking over as the head of the Park City Ski Team in 2009. His favorite part of his current job: “Seeing the kids excel at a level that they themselves didn’t imagine.”
