AirScape™

The AirScape™ system by Osprey utilizes 3D foam back panels to keep the pack close to your body, forming a stable, secure fit. The panels are highly ventilated to prevent excess perspiration, and the foam adheres to your shape for long-term comfort. With six inches of adjustability, the AirScape™ system is designed to optimize the fit for a range of body types and sizes.

Hydraulics®

Osprey’s Hydraulics® reservoir system features thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) construction, and is entirely BPA-, phthalate-, and lead-free. The wide-mouth opening makes filling and cleaning easy, while their patented QuickConnect hose assures a reliable and convenient connection. Blaster bite valves are designed to provide high-volume flow, and the magnetic harness clip ensures secure and accessible valve placement.

PFC-Free Durable Water Repellent (DWR)

Like standard DWR, PFC-free DWR is a fabric treatment that improves the water-repellency of the outer layer of the material while maintaining its breathability—but without PFCs (perfluorinated chemicals). PFCs decompose slowly and negatively impact the environment. According to the EPA, PFCs also harm human and animal health, and they can be ingested through air, water, and food.

LidLock™

Osprey’s LidLock™ is designed to easily and securely hold your bike helmet on the outside of your backpack, enabling you to keep your hands free. The plastic lid-lock passes through the holes in the helmet, allowing the elastic bungee cords to hold it in place.
