Petzl Grigri Belay Device

The Grigri is Petzl's climbing belay device with cam-assisted blocking, designed for the gym and crag. Cam-assisted blocking makes belaying easier and more comfortable — when the climber falls, the rope tightens, making the Grigri's cam pivot to pinch and block the rope. It also offers leeway for the brake-side hand position. The Petzl Grigri is simple to use for belaying both lead and top rope climbers.
