The reworked Gea RS remains Scarpa's stiffest AT boot for women, but it now boasts new cuff and shell technologies to make it more torsionally rigid—all without sacrificing the great touring and skiing capabilities the Gea is known for. The Thor cuff is constructed from a bio-based polyamide material to help reduce CO2 emissions during production, but it also enhances the torsional rigidity of the boot. It is then bolstered by the Lambda frame along the lower shell to further increase torsional rigidity. The Gea maintains 60 degrees of cuff rotation for touring efficiency, which can be locked down with the super rigid Speedlock ST ski/walk mechanism and Wave closure system when it comes time to rip skis and ski your line.
Bi-injection Lambda Frame shell using Grilamid and Carbon Grilamid LFT for high torsional rigidity
Speedlock XT Ski/Walk mechanism is friction free and rock solid
HRS Strap keeps your heel locked into place
Intuition liner is thermoformable and guarantees a warm, precise, comfortable fit
