A cold wind shouldn't stop you from getting out on the trail or road. Sugoi's Zap Knee Warmers provide excellent thermal warmth in chilly mountain conditions. And if you're riding into dusk and the dark, Zap technoclogy boosts reflectivity for enhanced safety on the road.
Winter 2020/2021 model MidZero fabric for supportive stretch and comfort panelled with Zap reflectivity for high visibility Gripper elastic keeps warmers securely in place Zap
Zap reflectivity technology is designed to be visible within a critical detection distance of 450 feet (based on a vehicle traveling at 50 miles per hour). Zap-equipped clothing and accessories produce a silhouette effect by providing full-body illumination that completes the human form, allowing drivers to register a human-in-motion. Zap technology is certified for Level 1 (Car), Level 2 (Trucks/SUVs), and Level 3 (Oversize Commercial Vehicles), and Zap-equipped garments exceed the High Visibility Clothing Certificate Standard.
MidZero offers full-motion stretch without bulk. It’s a perfect mid-weight layer suitable for a wide range of temperatures. The soft, brushed inner side expedites moisture wicking and increases air flow, trapping body warmth next to skin. An essential fabric that provides the foundation for SUGOI tights, mid and outer layers.
High UPF Sun Protection Rating
UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) refers to the fraction of UVA and UVB rays that can get through a textile. For example, UPF 15 means that 1/15th (or 6%) of UV rays can get through the fabric. Not all pieces of clothing are equal. Fabric type, construction, color, and chemical treatments are some of the biggest influencing factors. The higher the UPF number, the greater the sun protection, with 50 usually being the highest.
