This versatile all-mountain ski is built with Volkl's Multi Layer Woodcore, which is well balanced between performance and a smooth ride with harder beech wood under the bindings for efficient energy transfer and softer poplar providing a smooth, forgiving character throughout the rest of the ski. A titanal layer runs edge-to-edge under the bindings for torsional stiffness and efficient power transfer. A fiberglass frame wraps around the edges, shovels, and tails above the sidewall to provide stability and shock absorption with a more forgiving nature than the metal layer used on Volkl's TI models. The 84 mm waist underfoot is versatile to handle any terrain, and rocker in the tip helps in soft and variable snow. Positive camber between the shovels and tails creates a long effective edge that grips well for carving. Volkl's 3D radius sidecut lets you adjust your turn radius depending on what part of the ski you're driving; the middle of the ski produces a shorter, slalom-style turn pattern, while putting energy into the tips or tails yields a longer turn radius.
