Atomic Backland 108 Ski - Women's
Details
Smooth, floaty, and versatile, Atomic set a new standard in backcountry freeriding with the new Backland 108 W. As part of Atomic's brand commitment to reducing environmental impact in their manufacturing process, the new FreeTour construction uses more renewables and less fiberglass, metal, and resin. As a result, Atomic was able to cut carbon emissions by 26% compared to earlier Backland models. The Ultra Light Woodcore uses lightweight hardwoods—poplar and caruba—to give the Backland 108 a consistent flex for even power transmission and high-speed stability. The 108 mm waist underfoot makes these Backlands wide enough for the deepest powder days. And, uniquely beveled HRZN 3D tips increase the surface area in the shovels for effortless float and turn initiation in powder. The Backland's Powder Rocker has a great balance of tip and tail splay with enough camber underfoot to hold an edge on big-mountain faces. For big lines, you need a ski that's up for the challenge—you need the Atomic Backland 108 W.
