Job Title: Production Coordinator

Job Description:

The jans.com Production Coordinator is the central hub for the entire web content team. The Coordinator receives requests for updates and content creation, then assigns them to the appropriate team member for execution. As projects are assigned and completed, the Production Coordinatior tracks them, and reports them during the weekly production meeting.

The Production Coordinator is also the website content team’s liaison to the data entry team, forwarding requests for updates as needed. He/she also is responsible for contacting vendors to obtain current catalogs and image resource links.

The Production Coordinator is also responsible for writing ~200 products per season, as well as finding, formatting, and uploading current season product images. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the affiliate marketing program, and running the Jans Pinterest social media page.

The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination capabilities, and be able to think and react quickly, effectively and efficiently delegate work, multitask, set priorities, shift priorities, adapt to changes in situations, and exercise good judgment. Quick turnaround and tenacity are important, along with the ability to problem solve and work cooperatively with others. The Production Coordinator must be highly creative, well-organized, possess excellent attention to detail, and be committed to producing quality creative solutions.

Essential qualifications of the successful Production Coordinator will include:

Position / Job Title: Bike Mechanic
Employment Period: 40 hrs/week, summer 2017

Summary: We are on the search for some experienced bike mechanics to work for Jans this summer. If hired, you would work on road bikes to mountain bikes and everything in between. Extensive knowledge of how to build and repair bikes is essential. Prior shop experience is always a plus, but not necessarily required. We hire people who are passionate about the outdoors, most especially all things bike related.
