Head Kore 99 Ski
Details
Carving, moguls, powder—the Head Kore 99 Ski can do it all. The best part is you don't have to sacrifice performance in one area for proficiency in another. Head improved their lightweight freeride Kore line to make these all-mountain favorites even better while still managing to save weight. A lighter ski means less work on your legs and more fun. The Kore 99 is light and stiff, and combined with its tight turning radius, makes for a very playful and dynamic ski. The poplar and karuba wood core has a great weight-to-performance ratio; and it's sandwiched between two layers of fiberglass and two layers of carbon. Most significantly, the added layer of carbon on top curves over the sidewall for a clean finish and increased durability. Giving the new carbon layer a three-dimensional aspect reduces chatter and adds more pop—increasing the Kore's energy when exiting turns as well as overall performance. The featherweight construction, wide shovels, and a 99 mm waist underfoot provides the float you want on powder days. Tip and tail rocker boost versatility in soft and variable snow, while camber underfoot provides great edge contact for carving the frontside. For intermediate- to expert-level skiers looking for a single ski that can do it all, the Head Kore 99 is your answer.
