Ride Summary
The best term for this ride is “delightful.” The path follows McLeod Creek for over three miles and there are several benches along the way to sit by the stream if your desired pace is decidedly leisurely. There are also a number of picnic tables at McPolin Farm if you want to pack a lunch.
There is very little elevation change, and the change is so gradual as to be almost unnoticeable. The surface is all bike paths and is either paved or packed sand with a gravel base. It is rideable in all weather conditions except accumulated snow, at which point it becomes a great snowshoe trail. It is also suitable for towing kid trailers.
