Shin Cushion
Details
Boot bang, shin bang, whatever you want to call it, does skiing make your shins sore? One of our very own Jans Experts, Paul Archer, invented a solution to this problem. Paul is famous for his boot fits, particularly when a person has issues with their feet. Naturally, he'd be the one to invent The Shin Cushion. This product will get you back out on the hill right away, so you don’t have to miss one day of skiing. The secret is the void of The Shin Cushion placed over the sore area on your tibia, held in place by a light adhesive, plus your ski sock. The cushioning around the void prevents the sore spot from directly pressing against the boot's tongue, eliminating the painful pressure. The Shin Cushion is very light and unobtrusive, and they can be doubled up (two stacked together for one shin) for extra cushioning. Because the thickness rebounds somewhat after the initial compression, they are usually reusable.
