Description
Boasting nearly 2.1 million acres of diverse landscapes, Utah’s highest peaks, and pristine waters, the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest (UWCNF) is truly a fly fisher’s paradise, and there is no better way to explore it than on a full-day trip with a local guide.
A special use permit granted to the Jans Fly Shop grants our guided trips exclusive access to 18 lakes and reservoirs, as well as three different river systems within the UWCNF. Additionally, some of these areas do require hiking in high altitude conditions.
Because there is so much to explore in the UWCNF, and getting there requires a short drive from Park City, guided trips to the Uintas depart from our sister shop, Fishwest in Kamas, UT.
